The Voice UK favourite Bo Bruce has said she’s been finding the show “incredibly difficult”, having to split her time between the show and her ill mum.
Bo has had to skip on rehearsal time and promotional activities in order to spend time with her mother, who is in hospital with a terminal illness.
“It has been incredibly difficult,” Bo admitted this week. “I so want to make this experience on The Voice something that will change my life, but equally my biggest fan is my mum and I want to be with her.”
Bo, who has been in hospital herself due to a back condition recently, added: “I’ve made it work but I’ve been sleeping on a lot of hospital floors.”
Speaking to The Sun, Bo explained that her proud mum was following her every step in the competition.
The 27-year-old told the newspaper: “She can’t make it to the studio but she is watching me in hospital.”
Bo will be competing against Tyler James, Vince Kidd and Leanne Mitchell in The Voice UK final on Saturday night.
