The Voice UK: Will.i.am not worried about low ratings

Will.i.am (The Voice UK)

Will.i.am has brushed off concern over The Voice UK’s ratings, saying he doesn’t even bother to look at them!

The latest live show was watched by 4.5 million viewers, a series low and down over a million viewers on the previous week.

But Will insisted it wasn’t a problem, and that the show would be back.

And he also suggested the papers had been exaggerating the decline in viewing figures.

He said: “I don’t read the papers. Are they saying the ratings gong down? Are they going down? I read Wikipedia one time and it said I was a million ears old, so you can’t really believe what you read”

Meanwhile, the Black Eyed Peas star said there were no problems between him and fellow coach Danny O’Donoghue, despite clashing on the show.

“No, it wasn’t a bust up, it was just me being honest,” Will added.

The Voice UK concludes this Saturday night with the final.
