Sir Tom Jones has admitted he’s unsure whether or not he’ll be back on The Voice UK next year, saying he’ll be waiting to see who the other coaches are first.
The Welsh legend was the last of this year’s panel to sign up, having only agreed to a deal after knowing the stars that would be joining him on the panel.
Sir Tom previously revealed he was in talks to return next year, but explained nothing had been agreed yet.
“I don’t know, there’s a lot involved about who’s going to do it. I wouldn’t sign unless I knew who the others were,” he commented this week. “That’s how I started it, because I might not like them.
“When I started, you put your act together, you worked the clubs before you get a record contract.
“Now these kids on these talent shows, they get this exposure before they actually get a contract. It’s almost in reverse, they’re thrown in at the deep end right away.”
Sir Tom previously stated he’d want to see Jessie J back on the panel with him.
