The Voice UK: Aleks Josh insists he has no regrets over the show

Aleks Josh (The Voice UK)

The Voice UK star Aleks Josh has said he has no regrets over his time on the show, and hit out at people who branded him a sore loser.

The 17-year-old was targeted by viewers after being eliminated on Sunday night, with many claiming that the teenager looked angry with the results.

Many users on online forums and Twitter called the youngster miserable and sulky after he and David Julien were sent home ahead of the semi-finals.

But Aleks insisted: “I’m alright with it. When I had to the stand on the stage, going through all that is quite a horrible feeling.

“The cameras… you’ve just to stand there with everyone looking at you and stuff.”

Speaking to us after his exit, Aleks also said he had “no regrets” over his time on the series, including his song choice at the weekend.

Aleks overruled coach Danny with the song, which the other panelists branded “too comfortable” and dull.

Aleks told us: “I don’t regret doing my song, I don’t regret any thing, I just wanted to sing that I wanted to sing, so I don’t regret any thing at all.”

I for one was sad to see Aleks go as it was nice and refreshing not to have to listen to all that shouting type singing and for a young lad of 17 to be able to sing like that he should be very proud of himself, I hope he will continue to sing and maybe one day make a record so we can enjoy his voice again and as far as people saying he was angry at loosing all I saw was a young lad upset about loosing which was only natural.
I wouldn’t have wanted Danny’s job on Sunday as all his singers were great and they all should have stayed, Danny certainly had the strongest team and by the way the other judges acted on Sunday you could see they felt threatend, it really spoilt the show for me all the bickering.
