The Voice UK: Max Milner 'scared to death' of elimination

The Voice UK hopeful Max Milner has admitted he’s ‘scared to death’ of being eliminated from the show.

The rocker, in Team Danny O’Donoghue, was in the bottom two last time he was performed and was saved over Hanny Berney by coach Danny.

This weekend, Max will perform for only his second time live, and admitted: “The whole elimination thing scared me to death but that is what we’ve let ourselves in for.

“Everyone feels uneasy when they’re out of their comfort zone but I enjoy throwing myself into things and seeing how they work out.”

Speaking to What’s On Tv, Max branded Danny as the “perfect” coach.

He raved: “He’s so similar to me; he’s my genre of music and I suppose he’s someone that I aspire to be like. I’m so happy with him as a coach.”

Max also confessed that his aim in the competition was only ever to make it through to the live shows.

He added: “My aim was to make it through the Battle Rounds, now I just want to sing, enjoy it and not get wrapped up in the craziness of possibly winning. Music’s everything to me – I just want to carry on performing.”

Catch Max Milner on The Voice UK this Saturday night from 6:30PM on BBC One.
