The Voice UK coaches hold "crisis dinner" to stop ratings decline

Coaches (The Voice UK)

The Voice UK coaches reportedly held a “crisis dinner” together yesterday in a bid to come up with ideas to stop the decline in ratings.

Sir Tom Jones, Jessie J, Will.i.am and Danny O’Donoghue went out for a meal at a posh North London restaurant, the Daily Star claim.

It followed the reality series’ lowest ratings yet, as it was beaten by Britain’s Got Talent in a 15-minute head to head clash.

Despite hitting a high of 10.7 million viewers back in the battle rounds, Saturday’s live show was watched by just 5.6 million. people.

“They think that the show is a winner. They are doing all they can, but it’s just not doing the business in the ratings,” a source told the newspaper.

A BBC insider added: “We still believe The Voice is a big success.”

The Voice UK continues next weekend on BBC One at 6:30PM.
