The Voice UK coach Danny O’Donoghue has defended Will.i.am over his coaching style.
The US star has been criticised for neglecting his contestants, spending most of his week outside the country.
But Danny insisted that Will was doing a “great job” and al of the coaches were putting in more effort than was being asked for from producers.
“He’s doing a great job, he’s got some great talent on his team,” The Script frontman said today.
He added: “There are those hours from the BBC, you’re required to do hours, but again we’re all willing to stay extra hours and stay here until it’s done.”
Danny went on: “I thought I was the most organised, the most on the money, but when I’m watching everyone’s performances I’m thinking, everyone’s really going hell for leather here, everyone’s putting in a lot.”.
The Voice UK continues next Saturday night on BBC One at the earlier time of 6:10PM.
Team Tom and Team Will’s artists will perform for a second time and TWO artists from both teams will leave on the Sunday results show.
