The Voice UK hopeful Bo Bruce may quit the show to spend time with her sick mum, it’s been claimed today.
Bo – real name Lady Catherine Anna Brudenell-Bruce – has been taking time out of rehearsals to hold a bedside vigil for mum Rosamund, The Sun reports.
But with live shows scheduled all the way through this month and into June, Bo is said to be worried about missing time with her mum.
“Bo is all over the place. She can’t focus on anything except her mother’s welfare,” a supposed friend of the singer’s told the newspaper. “She’s been by her bedside all week. Her mum is desperately unwell and Bo doesn’t want to leave her.
“It’s a tough week for her anyway as she was having to juggle hospital visits with rehearsals.
“It is her dream to succeed on the show but she can’t give it 100 per cent as she is sick with worry.”
Writing on Twitter about the reports this morning, Bo only said: “thanks 4 the sweetest tweets/sad it’s in the press when i refuse to talk about it/does knock my trust but NOT my desire to fight”
Team Danny singer Bo will perform live for the first time on the Voice UK this evening.
