The Voice UK star Cassius Henry is already a hit with the ladies, despite not having even performed yet.
The R&B singer, who will sing live on the show this Saturday, says he’s had a “crazy” response from viewers.
“I am single at the moment and they have all been going mad since I appeared on The Voice blind auditions,” he revealed. “It is overwhelming, but I am just laughing about it now as otherwise you could get a really big head from the response.
“The attention has definitely been far more full-on since I went on The Voice.
“I have even had marriage proposals on Twitter, Facebook — it’s very funny.”
Speaking to The Sun, Cassius explained how he hopes will give him another chance to make it in the music industry.
The singer was signed at just 16, but gave up his career following the sudden death of his younger brother.
“I was so close to my little brother,” Cassius told the newspaper. “We did everything together and he was so proud of me. He was always playing my music and telling everyone about me.”
He added: “I carried on after that and went on tour with Kanye West but it was tough. My focus wasn’t there.”
Cassius Henry and the rest of Team Jessie and Team Danny will be performing this Saturday from 7:10PM on BBC One.
