The Voice UK favourite Ruth Brown has hit back at Twitter trolls who attacked her because of her weight.
The 20-year-old wowed on Sunday night’s show, but despite the impressive performance, some viewers attacked the youngster over her image.
“Ok I’m big, get over it,” she wrote on Twitter after receiving a barrage of abusive comments.
She added: “Not gonna lie those comments did hurt, but I’m getting my dream and have amazing support thank you all.”
Many hit out at the singer’s figure and dress, with one describing her as a “fat wasp” from behind their computer screen.
But it seems like Ruth is set to get the last laugh, with the singer the current favourite to win the show.
She topped our poll at the weekend after an epic closing performance to the first live show with Get Here by Oleta Adams.
