The Voice UK’s Tyler James has been given praise by Amy Winehouse’s god-daughter Dionne Bromfield.
Tyler, who was friends with the late Amy Winehouse, was seen performing in Saturday’s first live show.
Dionne, a singer herself, wrote online: “Hey @TylerJames777 Just seen your performance #TheVoiceUK You were amazing.. I’m there on the 12th So hopefully we can catch up!!!! (sic).”
Tyler, who was saved by the public on Sunday, replied: “Luv ya darling”.
Tyler previously described the date Amy died last year as “the worst of his life”, and told how Amy gave him the confidence to perform after becoming addicted to drink.
He’ll get the chance to relax this weekend, as Team Danny and Team Jessie’s artists take to the stage.
