Tyler James gave an amazing performance on the first Voice UK live final tonight, getting coach Will.i.am on his feet.
The 30-year-old performed James Vincent McMorrow’s take on Higher Love for the coaches on this evening’s performance show.
Jessie J raved: “I loved the simplicity of it. It was beautiful, and it was amazing. So, well done.”
Sir Tom Jones commented: “If I had been his coach I’d have done the exact same as Will did. I think the song choice was perfect. I’ve never heard someone sing as strong with a falsetto voice with their full voice.”
Danny O’Donoghue added: “That would be an amazing version of that song and I hope on your future album it’s on there.”
Finally, Tyler’s coach Will.i.am said: “When you were singing, I was dreaming again. We were on tour together, and after we performed and all the girls passed by my dressing room to go to your dressing room. Because you’re dope. Everything you did was like super-mega-fresh.
“You found the emotion. I felt it. Every lick was licked. It was fresh.”
