The Voice UK hopeful Emily McGregor has said that auditioning for the show was “strange”.

The 21-year-old from Ryde on the Isle Of Wight will be seen performing on the final audition show this weekend.

Not giving anything away about the reaction from the panel, Emily told the IOW County Press: “It was strange they could not see me and were judging me just on my voice.

“It was not like playing in any normal gig.”

Emily – also known as Emmy J Mac – will reportedly perform Put Your Records On by Corinne Bailey Rae for the coaches on Saturday night.

But will any of them turn around?

The Voice UK airs at 7PM on Saturday on BBC One.
