Leanne Mitchell made the leap from holiday camp to The Voice UK stage this evening, joining Team Tom.

The 28-year-old wowed the panel with her cover of Beyonce’s If I Were A Boy, getting both Sir Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue to press their buzzers.

The Script star Danny told her: “Well done, well done. A big song to sing but when you hit that high note, you got great power. I’d be honored to work with you”

Sir Tom said: “I’d love have to you on my team because you have the strength, very appealing to me.”

A clearly overwhelmed Leanne told the pair: “I didn’t think one would turn around let alone two.”

She added: “I’m gonna go with Tom.”
