Holly Willoughby has said she’s excited to be hosting The Voice UK on BBC One later this year, describing the new show as “very different” from current talent contest.
The new music based reality series will go head to head with Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday nights this spring, and Holly reckons the show is a winner.
“It’s a brilliant show, it’s a show that I strongly believe in,” the former Dancing On Ice presenter said last month.
Speaking at the National Television Awards, Holly continued: “It’s very different to any of the other talent shows you’ve seen and it’s purely about the voice.”
Holly, who will be hosting the show alongside Reggie Yates, added: “I’m very excited to be hosting The Voice, it’s a big opportunity for me.”
The Voice U will air on BBC One from March.
