Former TOWIE star Amy Childs has hit out at the show’s producers for forcing her to leave the show.
Amy quit the ITV2 reality series last year, and blamed the producers for her wanting to leave.
“TOWIE want to put you up one minute and then they want to put you down,” Amy complained. “I just had to be myself and have a laugh on the show. That’s why I left after series two. I thought, ‘I can’t really handle all of the, ‘Oh you’re in it, Oh you’re not in it.’ ”
Amy went on to star in Celebrity Big Brother last year and even managed to get her own reality series, and she has no regrets over leaving.
“I left and I’ve done really well for myself and now people know me as Amy Childs and not just Amy Childs from TOWIE,” the redhead told the Daily Star earlier this week.
The current series of TOWIE concludes this Sunday night on ITV2.
