It seems The Only Way Is Essex’s cast members are dropping like flies, as The Daily Star claims that the 23-year-old will fill Gavin Henson’s shoes in the next series of the reality dating show.
A source said: “Kirk has been approached to join The Bachelor on Channel 5. He’s jumping at the chance to leave TOWIE and do something more dynamic. He has an eye for the ladies and has been saying for a while it’s time to find a nice girl and settle down.
“Kirk’s been really successful with regard to money and business ventures, but has yet to find the perfect lady. After seeing how much fun Gavin had on the last series of The Bachelor, Kirk’s well up for it.”
His former girlfriend Amy Childs moved to Channel 5 after leaving TOWIE, appearing on Celebrity Big Brother and landing her own show, It’s All About Amy. More recently, Mark Wright bid farewell to his Essex chums to enter the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
But Kirk isn’t the only person thinking of joining them – Lauren Goodger, James Argent, Sam Faiers and Harry Derbidge are all rumoured to be quitting.
Bosses of the ITV2 series do not allow its cast to appear on other reality shows, as they believe it would stop viewers from seeing them as ‘real people’.
