The Bachelor star Spencer Matthews has insisted that he’s not together with ex Louise Thompson.
The pair split earlier this year, but some of the axed girls from The Bachelor have claimed that Spencer is still with his fellow Made In Chelsea star.
But speaking to new! magazine, Spencer insisted: “Louise and I met when we were 17 but we weren’t quite ready for anything serious, so we became really good friends.”
He explained: “We’ve always been a very close but, every time we circulated back to one another in a romantic way, it just didn’t work and each time we damaged the friendship we had. We mutally decided we worked better a friends.”
Spencer admitted it was “soon” to be looking for love again so soon after his split with Louise, but hoped she wouldn’t be upset.
“It is soon but it’s just best to look forward than backwards,” he said. “If I do get a girlfriend and it upsets Louise, it’ a shame. I hope she knows I’ll always be there for her. We need to face the reality that we never worked.”
