The Apprentice final: Claude Littner clashes with Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin (The Apprentice 2012)

Lord Sugar’s business pal Claude Littner lays into Ricky Martin on The Apprentice final tonight, branding him an “arrogant fool”.

It’s the final instalment of the current series as the four remaining candidates find their CVs, personal lives and business plans scrutinized by Lord Sugar’s team of business experts.

Ricky in particular comes under attack from Claude Littner, who tells the professional wrestler: “Some of the statements you’ve made are completely ludicrous… the problem is that you’re an arrogant fool.”

He adds: “Probably the most crass, obnoxious and infantile personal statement that I’ve had the… not really a pleasure, I’ve had the opportunity of reading.”

Confident Ricky – real name Richard – seems to win Claude around.

He tells the troubleshooter: “When I turned up to this process, I had a lot of bravado about me.

“I was happy to sit there and say these bold statements to get myself noticed and to get myself heard. I’ll be honest to say that throughout this process I’ve realised a lot about myself and I’m a very different person now.”

Tune in tonight to see which of Ricky and his fellow finalists Jade Nash, Nick Holzherr walk away with the £250,000 investment.

The Apprentice final, tonight at 8:30PM on BBC One.
