Fired Apprentice 2012 candidate Katie Wright has said she’s backing Gabrielle Omar to win the show.
Katie got the axe from Lord Sugar last night, following the latest task which saw the contestants sell food on the streets of Scotland.
Speaking after her exit, Katie told The Sun today: “I’d really like Gabrielle Omar to win. She’s smart, kind and doesn’t stab people in the back.
“I think people underestimate her because she’s softly spoken but listen to her and she’s always right.
“I was close to everyone but Jade Nash and Stephen Brady were probably the ones I got on with best.”
But Katie stuck the knife in when it came to Jenna Whittingham, who was project manager for the winning team on Wednesday.
“For me, the weakest candidate is Jenna,” Katie explained. “She relied very heavily on being what she called a grafter but the simple fact is that we’re all grafters on The Apprentice so you can’t use that as a line.
“I don’t think she has raw business ability when it comes to numbers, writing, presenting or new ideas.
“She might have won but it was close and she didn’t really have a grasp of the costings.”
continues on Wednesdays on BBC One.
