Fired Apprentice 2011 candidate Gavin Winstanley has said that he reckons Zoe Beresford should’ve been fired instead of him on last night’s third episode of the current series. Speaking to DigitalSpy after his exit, Gavin claimed Zoe had failed to make any effort in the task.
Gavin bought Vincent Disneur and Zoe into the boardroom, however it was him who got the chop from Lord Sugar. Talking about the decision, Gavin said: “Vincent, to be fair to him, got the meat and made some good calls and did some deals. And then we had Zoe, who didn’t make one phone call throughout the day.
“She didn’t negotiate one deal. We’ve got two people who closed deals and one person who hasn’t even made one phone call. So I think Zoe should probably have gone.”
Meanwhile Gavin insisted he did think he was going to win the show, explaining: “I wouldn’t have gone on the show if I didn’t think I was going to win it. I had the confidence to win it, I felt confident in every task.”
The Apprentice 2011 continues next Wednesday at 9PM.
