Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashleigh Butler could be set to appear on Strictly Come Dancing 2012.
The 17-year-old is set to split from her dancing dog Pudsey for the show, which returns to BBC One in September.
“I’d love to do Strictly. It would be nice to show people who I am,” the school girl told the Daily Star today.
She joked: “Some people say: ‘Why doesn’t Pudsey just ditch her?’ But I’d like to see how he would have done without me. I can dance. I mainly do contemporary but I reckon that I could try ballroom.”
Ashleigh won £500,000 with Pudsey during the BGT final back in May, and will perform for the Queen at the Royal Variety show in December.
But Ashleigh’s hectic schedule has forced her to give up some opportunities.
She revealed: “We were gutted we couldn’t do American Idol.
“We were offered it at the last minute but I just wouldn’t have Pudsey put in storage for the flight over.”
