Strictly Come Dancing’s Brendan Cole has said that the show won’t miss Alesha Dixon this year.
The former Misteeq singer quit as a judge on the BBC One show in January to defect to ITV and Britain’s Got Talent.
But dancing pro Brendan says that Alesha’s replacement – Darcey Bussell, as revealed last month – will be “fantastic”.
“I saw Alesha on BGT. She did really well. However, I don’t think she will be a big miss, really,” Brendan told The Sun.
He added: “I am very excited about Darcey Bussell. She is probably the most famous dancer in the country and is going to be on the panel judging us, which is fantastic.”
The new series of Strictly Come Dancing hits screens on BBC One in September.
