Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has hit out at Britain’s Got Talent, saying it’s scraping the barrel this year.
Speaking to this week’s TV Buzz, the Strictly star also revealed he was a huge fan of BGT rival The Voice UK.
No surprises from the BBC star there!
“There’s some incredible talent on there – unlike Britain’s Got talent,” he told the magazine. “Why bring a man dressed as a Roman solider on to the stage to do nothing? That’s scraping the bottom of the barrel.”
But there is one thing Craig is loving about BGT, new judge David Walliams!
“He’d be great on Strictly as a judge,” he says, but concedes: “He’s not a dancer. You have to have some qualification. You can’t just get anyone up there.
“Alesha won Strictly and was trained by the one world champion [Matthew Cutler] the show’s ever had, so she was more qualified than most to judge.”
