Strictly Come Dancing’s Brendan Cole has said he won’t mind pairing up with Edwina Currie on this year’s show. The 35-year-old professional ballroom dancer told BANG Showbiz today he was looking forward to finding out his partner and was “raring to go”!
Former Conservative MP Edwina is one this year’s rumoured Strictly Come Dancing celebrities, with Craig Revel Horwood yesterday predicting she’d be “nightmare” on the show.
But open minded Brendan said: “I don’t mind who I’m partnered with, to be honest, young or old.
“I’ve won before with Natasha – although it was a long time ago, I still won – so I’m not bothered about winning. It’s the taking part! I’ve had great partners in the past.”
Speaking about tomorrow’s series launch – which will be broadcast on Saturday – he added: “I’m raring to go. I can’t wait until Wednesday to find out who I’ve got. It’s going to be a great series.”
The confirmed Strictly Come Dancing 2011 line up will be announced later today.
