Former The Only Way Is Essex cast member Maria Fowler is reportedly at the centre of a bidding war between Celebrity Big Brother and I’m A Celebrity…According to the Daily Star, Fowler – who left the ITV2 docusoap earlier this year amid claims that she worked as an escort – is in ‘hot demand’ after she revealed that she’d be up for taking part in the reality shows.
In an interview, the 25-year-old model admitted: “I do want to get back on TV – perhaps in I’m A Celebrity or Big Brother.”
Maria – who has since quit Essex to move to Scotland with her boyfriend Lee Croft – is now said to be preparing for her ‘TV comeback’.
A source said: “Producers are digging deep to try to get her. There is talk of offers on the table of up to £250,000.”
Celebrity Big Brother returns to our screens later this summer, while the twelfth series of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here will air in November.
