Talentless twins John and Edward – who make up Jedward – have denied reports that they’ll be taking part in Celebrity Big Brother next month. It was rumoured last week that the pair had signed a £1 million deal with Channrl 5 to take part in the new series, netting themselves around £500,000 each.
Speaking to the Metro however, the duo denied they had plans to enter the house and the I’m A Celebrity jungle later this year.
In an interview, Edward first joked: “We’re not denying it but we’re not saying we have been approached. There are always rumours about this.
“Bad Behaviour has the initials BB and it doesn’t just stand for Bad Behaviour…’
But John confirmed: “We’re not doing either [Big Brother or I'm A Celebrity]”
However the twins did reveal how they’d plan to survive being locked up for a month in the house.
“If we were going to go in we’d have to have a code so we could get out of there or if we were really liking it so our fans would know to vote for us or not to vote,” John said
Edward added: “If me and John were in there we’d make it PG and tell everyone not to be doing bad things.”
Meanwhile John confirmed they had been aproached for lots of shows, following their semi-sucess on The X Factor back in 2009. He said: “We’ve been offered TV shows all around the world. We’ve been offered the German Big Brother and all these different TV shows.”
Their manager Louis Walsh told Alan Carr last week: “I’m not confirming or denying anything”
Celebrity Big Brother 2011 airs on Channel 5 in August.
