Dancing On Ice bosses are reportedly considering asking Jason Gardiner to return to the show next year.

Following a dip in ratings back in the winter for this year’s show, which saw two new judges, TV chiefs are set to do a U-Turn.

Both Jason and Emma Bunton were axed from the panel last year, replaced by Louie Spence and Katarina Witt.

According to the Daily Mail, the Jason could return next January because Louie proved TOO popular!

A show source told the newspaper’s Dan Wootton: “The show wasn’t the same without the controversy sparked by Jason.

“His replacement Louie Spence was too popular. He didn’t ruffle feathers — no one was talking about the show.”

But a pal of Jason’s told the newspaper that may not want to comeback, having claimed he was “stitched up” over this year’s series.

The friend said: “Jason is loving life away from Dancing On Ice.

“He felt he was treated incredibly badly and it would take a lot of talking before he felt comfortable enough to even think about a return.”
