Dancing On Ice 2012 contestant Matthew Wolfenden has reportedly been given a fake tan ban, due to his work on ITV1 soap Emmerdale.
According to the Daily Star, ITV bosses fear that a lovely orange glow won’t fit in with life in a Yorkshire village.
Currently the hunky 31-year-old actor, who plays David Metcalfe in the show, has been removed and apply tans in-between fake performances.
A show insider told the newspaper: “It would look really odd if one day he’s walking through the village with a tan in the middle of winter.”
Dancing On Ice 2012 continues this Sunday on ITV1.
