Dancing On Ice bosses are reportedly regretting their decision to axe Jason Gardiner from the show following a decline in ratings.
TellyMix reported last week how there was bad news for this year’s new hosts and judges after the show dipped do less than 6 million viewers last Sunday.
It follows the axing of judges Jason Gardiner and Emma Bunton, which ITV sources have now claimed has been a “potentially catastrophic mistake”.
One insider told the Daily Mail: “Dancing On Ice is a nice family show.
“But many people tuned in just to hear what outrageous insult Jason would throw at a hapless celebrity after their performance.
“He was box office — and the ratings so far are proving that.”
