Dancing On Ice 2011 stars will take part in an exciting new twist called ‘The Ice Pick’ this week, we can reveal. As promised on Sunday night’s show, yesterday the celebrities and their partners were informed of the shocking and cruel twist which will mean none of the contestants are safe from this week’s elimination.

This Sunday the remaining 11 celebs will all perform and skate as normal, they will be judged the scored by the panel as usual and then – as always – the public will however their say.

However, in a cruel twist, once the bottom two contestants have performed in the skate off it won’t be up to the judges who stays – it’ll be down to the celebrities!

From this weekend the safe celebrities will have to decide amongst themselves which of the two lowest scoring contestants should be leaving!

Sounds very cruel to me and it’s sure to add lots of drama to the results show…

Ive always thought that “Dancing on ice”had one of the nicest team of contestants,not much bickering and lots of genuine feelings,however,this new twist could turn it round completely.These people are really dancing with knives under their feet,they dont need to get all this agro,which could cause a very nasty accident.Weve gone all these past,whatever 5 yrs with a lovely warm team,all this will change that.Im not altogether sure that i want to watch and listen to contestants pulling what once was their friends,to pieces.Whose silly idea was this?

well i watched it,glad i did because tonight i thought all of them skated really well.I wasnt too keen on Kerry’s hair and make-up but i know it was to blend in with the song.Why didnt Sam just say “yes,were a couple”and have done with it?Good luck to them.One of the main reasons a enjoy D.O.I so much is because there’s never any arguing and bickering backstage-unlike X-Factor,and if there is its not in the paper’s or on T.V.for the world and its brother to see.We will have to wait and see if the “Ice Twist”changes all that. My selection up to the final is…Sam-Jennifer-Laura-Chloe-Kerry-Vanilla Ice-Jeff-Johnson-Dave and last but not least is Denise.What’s your’s?
