Gareth Thomas has opened up about his exit from Dancing On Ice 2013.
Sunday evening saw Gareth bow out in the latest Dancing On Ice 2013 results show.
But it wasn’t a normal exit, with Gareth being forced to withdraw due to illness, having been unable to complete his second skate of perform in the skate off when he was voted into the bottom two.
Speaking on Daybreak today, Gareth revealed he was now feeling much better.
And the rugby hunk said he couldn’t wait to return to the ice on Sunday night with his fellow stars.
He explained: “I’m OK now, I got all cleared yesterday. I’ve had pins in me, I’ve been like a pincushion for the last few days getting all tests and everything kind of cleared, because I just want to get back on the ice on Sunday.
” It all started on the ice for me, and I want it to end on the ice so I want to do it on Sunday.”
Meanwhile, Gareth also said it was decision to withdraw from the show on Sunday night.
He explained: “I didn’t want to go through to the final unless I go through fairly.
“As a sportsman, I either go through fairly or I don’t go through at all.”
