Britain’s Got Talent 2012 winner Ashleigh has admitted she’d love to turn her dog Pudsey into the new Lassie!
The 17-year-old won this year’s competition on Saturday night with Pudsey, winning a £500,000 prize and a spot on the Royal Variety show.
Speaking after her win today, Ashleigh teased: “We’ll be back soon with a whole array of dazzling dance routines so watch this space!
“I’d love to make Pudsey the new Lassie. I also want to thank everyone who voted for us – I’m so grateful.”
And Ashleigh revealed that Pudsey has already turned into a bit of a diva since his win!
She joked: “The photo of Pudsey taking a leak outside the studios was hilarious. Pudsey wasn’t too happy about it – he’s a bit of a diva.
“I don’t think he wanted his fans seeing him like that – he has a glamorous image to protect!”
She added: “He loves being papped and is best buds with the one and only Simon. I’ll have to keep him grounded and reign him in if he gets too showbizzy.”
