Britain's Got Talent 2012: David Walliams insists he's not biased to Aquabatique

David Walliams (Britain's Got Talent 2012)

Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams has insisted that he’s not biased towards Aquabatique, after it was revealed they performed at his wedding.

The synchronised swimmers performed at David and wife Laura Stone’s do in 2010.

Last night the girls won a spot in the final, with David voting them through in favour of Billy George.

But David insisted: “I had to follow my instincts. I book them for my wedding because I love synchronised swimmers, to that’s where my interest lies.”

He explained: “I don’t know them personally, I didn’t know them before the show, I actually had different girls at my wedding.

“I don’t have shares in the company or anything, i just like synchronised swimmers.”

The girls will be seen performing in the BGT final tomorrow night.
