Britain's Got Talent 2012 - Ryan

Ryan O’Shaughnessy and Aquabatique have become the last set of two acts to make the Britain’s Got Talent 2012 live final.

Another the final nine acts performed on this evening’s fifth and final semi-final, where the public were given their say on who made Saturday’s final.

Ryan O’Shaughnessy received the most votes and therefore automatically went through.

Synchronized swimmmers Aquabatique and Cyr Wheel performer Billy George were the next two most popular acts with the public, and it was up to the judges to decide which made the final.

David Walliams said: “I hate this bit, and their two quite similar acts in terms of physical strength, both were spectacular. I’m choosing what I thought made the most impact tonight, Aquabatique.”

Alesha Dixon said: “Can you skip me? I don’t know, I love you both, I don’t know. Both of you bring originality to the show. This is the hardest one yet. I love you girls, but I’m going to even up the score, Billy.”

Amanda Holden said: “The thing I’m loving here is both acts are variety, if I had to go by tonight’s performance, I’m going to go to Aquabatique.”

Simon Cowell said: “Billy, I thought you were absolutely brilliant.

“Girls, I thought you were amazing this evening.

“The act I’m going to send through to Saturday’s final is Aquabatique.”

As a result, Aquabatique joined the Ryan in the final.

The final airs on Saturday.
