Britain’s Got Talent has been accused of ‘favouring’ some contestants over others, following last night’s first live semi final.
Nine acts performed live for the judges last night, with Ashleigh and Pudsey and Only Boys Aloud going through.
But some acts have been annoyed at the “unfair” way the show has been edited, with singer Rachel Knowland only being seen on screen for a few seconds during her original audition.
Favourites such as Jonathan Antoine however have had a lot more air time.
A spokesperson for the show told the Daily Star today that it was “impossible” to give all 45 semi-finalists an equal time on air.
She said: “It is impossible to give the 45 semi-final acts the same amount of air-time in auditions.”
And they added: “The running order is based on getting the right mix of acts.”
