Singer Chelsea Redfern was seen in tears on Britain’s Got Talent tonight, after she was rejected again from one of Simon Cowell’s talent shows.
The performer had auditioned for The X Factor last year, singing True Colours at auditions in Cardiff.
But despite receiving a standing ovation and glowing comments from the judges – including Take That’s Gary Barlow – Chelsea was cut at the last stage of bootcamp.
Appearing on BGT this year, the 18-year-old wowed again with her voice, performing Prince track Purple Rain.
Simon raved: “When I heard you were young to sing Purple Rain, I thought it was a risk, but you’ve got something quite distinct in your voice. You sound like a pop star and look like a pop star.”
But tonight saw Chelsea cut again before the live shows, with only Ant and Dec to comfort her.
