Britain's Got Talent 2012: Synchronised swimmers Aquabatique on final audition show!

Britain's Got Talent

Aquabatique made Britain’s Got Talent 2012 history this weekend, as the judges go outside to see their audition!

The foursome of synchronised swimmers force judges David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden out into the cold and rain to show off their talent.

The girls swam a synchronised routine in four individual tanks for the panel, before awaiting their comments.

Talking on This Morning today, they revealed: “We’re all former synchronised swimmers and have dance backgrounds.

“We perform at special events and shows, but we put this act together especially for Britain’s Got Talent.”

More Talent host Stephen Mulhern added: “I think this is the first time that we’ve had something so different, they could go far.”

Speaking previously about Aquabatique, Ant and Dec joked that they thought the act was a typo on their script!

Ant said: “We’ve got three acts that we had to do in the car park because they were too big to go on the stage.

“We came in one day and saw ‘synchronised swimmers’ and we said, ‘Er, how is that going to work?’.”

Dec added: “We all had to decamp to the street – the judges and some of the audience!”

Will the judges be impressed with Aquabatique? Tune in to the final Britain’s Got Talent 2012 auditions tomorrow night at 8:45PM on ITV1 to find out!
