The last in the series of the Ant and Dec-fronted contest – which will feature the announcement of this year’s winner – has been pencilled in between 7.30pm and 10.00pm, lasting a whopping two and a half hours.
Meanwhile, BBC One will air a 95-minute episode of between 6.10pm and 7.45pm.
BGT was initially scheduled to start at 6.30pm, which would have resulted in a 75-minute clash, but it has since been pushed back.
It will be the first time the two shows have overlapped since last month. ITV had pit BGT against its rival for twenty minutes each week, but later backed down after The Voice’s Blind Auditions attracted up to six million more viewers.
However, the broadcaster will likely be more confident in its latest battle after The Voice lost over a million viewers when it went live last weekend.
Got Talent’s last auditions episode airs this Saturday at 7.45pm, before the week of semi-finals starts on Sunday at 8.00pm.
