Britain’s Got Talent 2012 judge Alesha Dixon has said she’s excited for the live shows this year.
The former Strictly Come Dancing judge will be going live this Sunday alongside fellow new panelist David Walliams.
Although Alesha’s used to the pressure, it’s sure to be a whole different ball game compared to the Strictly.
“I’m so excited, but I’m nervous for the contestants,” Alesha told the ITV1 website this week.
She went on: The talent this year is phenomenal. And to think the winner may possibly perform in front of her Majesty the Queen. What an honour!”
And Alesha knows what it’s live to perform for royalty.
She explained: “I performed at the Queen’s Golden Jubilee ten years ago. I’ve actually met Prince Charles on several occasions too, through my work for The Prince’s Trust.”
“I think William and Harry are really cool and down-to-earth. I’ve bumped into Harry before in nightclubs and we always have a chat whenever I see him. I really like Kate as well, she’s a class act.”
Alesha added: “It’s a great time to be British. We have the Diamond Jubilee coming up, the Olympics and BGT. 2012 is going to be a year to remember. Bring it on!”
