Britain’s Got Talent 2012 boss Simon Cowell brands Amanda Holden “annoying” this weekend, after her stint as head judge on last year’s show.

The fifth series of BGT last summer saw Amanda take the lead at the auditions, alongside comic Michael McIntyre and US star David Hasselhoff.

“Last year I liked the show because I was the boss,” Amanda said.

But speaking on More Talent, Simon says: “That didn’t work.”

He adds: “It was kind of annoying seeing Amanda stop songs and try to do what I do.

“She is annoying when she tries to be like me.”

Last year’s show saw a large ratings dip, with Simon Cowell moaning about the poor talent and even eventual winner Jai McDowall.

“I was disappointed with last year’s winner, Jai,” Simon said earlier this year. “You want to find someone who is a star all over the world and who has got a long career. With respect to him, he wasn’t one of our best ones
