The dates and times of the Britain’s Got Talent 2012 live shows have been confirmed this week, with the first live final kicking off on Sunday, May 6.
Unlike in previous years, where the live finals have run from Monday to Friday before a final on Saturday, this year the semi-finals will air from Sunday to Thursday.
The first semi-final on the Sunday will air in a two hour slot from 8PM until 10PM on Sunday May 6, while the weekday shows will air from 7:30PM-9PM, followed by a separate results show at 9:30PM.
Each of the episodes will feature nine acts, up on last year’s eight, making a total of 45 performers across the week. Guest stars will perform during the results, with X Factor judge Tulisa and boy band The Wanted already confirmed.
Judges David Walliams, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden will give their comments and the public will decide who goes through to the grand final.
The exact scheduling of the final, which may be split across Friday and Saturday, has yet to be confirmed.
