12-year-old Lauren Thalia wowed the Britain’s Got Talent 2012 judges on tonight’s show.
The posh youngster performed an acoustic version of Turn My Swag On for the panel, to a great reception from the audience and panel.
Lauren, who has been singing from the age of three, explained before her audition: “When I was really small I would always sing to songs on the telly. I really want to be able to do it as my job.”
Asked by David Walliams what she would do with the £500,000 prize money if she won, the adorable Lauren replied: “I’d have to go on a shopping spree. That would be pretty cool.”
After the song, guest judge Carmen Electra was on her feet.
“Britain really does has talent, girl you rock. You sung such a gangsta song,” she told the 12-year-old.
Alesha Dixon added: “You’re as cute as a button, you are adorable!’
David Walliams said: “You’re a little angel and I like you, you’re like a very small Alanis Morissette”
Simon however was more critical, but still joined the trio in giving Lauren a yes.
He told her “I like it when kids your age chose the song rather than your mum or dad. I also like that you guitar was too big for you and you couldn’t play it that well, and there was a break in your voice… but it made it more believable.”
