Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has pulled out of the show’s Blackpool auditions today after admitting herself to hospital in London.
The heavily pregnant actress was checked in for observation after she began suffering pains, according to The Daily Mail.
A spokesperson for the show confirmed that today’s try-outs will go ahead with the other three panellists, Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon.
With Amanda due to give birth next month, it had been expected that she would miss part of the audition tour. The 40-year-old – who tragically suffered a stillbirth last year – had attended the first dates in Manchester last week.
Recent reports claimed Cowell’s right-hand man Louis Walsh would again return as a temporary replacement judge.
The sixth series of Britain’s Got Talent hits ITV1 this Spring.
