20-year-old Sam Kelly moved the Britain’s Got Talent 2012 judges to tears as auditions kicked off last Friday, as the singer performed a cover of Adele’s Make You Feel My Love.

Accompanying the lyrics with his guitar, Sam left Amanda Holden in tears with the emotional performance.

Simon gushed: “I think you have got something really unique. I really like you Sam, brilliant.”

And the music mogul later added on Twitter: “First day of auditions, think we found a star but won’t give it away.”

Sam Kelly’s audition will air when Britain’s Got Talent returns to screens in April.
