Britain’s Got Talent reject Emma Czikai has had her court claim against Simon Cowell dismissed, after she tried to get £2.5 million out of the music mogul. 54-year-old Emma had claimed she was
“humiliated and degraded” on the show, when she auditioned for the 2009 series by performing a song.
20 million viewers watched the episode, as Simon Cowell blasted her “horrible singing voice”.
Amanda added during the audition two years ago: “I just can’t see how she can’t see that she can’t sing.”
Taking the show’s producers to court, Emma claimed £300,000 for her “injured feelings”, £1.25 million for “loss of earnings” and £1 million in compensation.
But with the case being kicked out this week, a spokesperson for the show said: “We welcome the decision. We have always denied that we treated her unfairly or in a discriminatory way.”
