Deana’s mum has blasted Scott for his ‘racist’ comments about Indian culture.
Scott was reprimanded by Big Brother in the Diary Room earlier this month after making jibes about Deana and her table manners.
He commented: “Do you know what, they used to do that in my dad’s takeaway, my dad owned and Indian takeaway and they used to eat everything with their hands?”
Big Brother issued the 21-year-old with an official warning at the time.
Deana’s mum Rashpal Kaur was quick to hit out at Scott’s ignorant remarks.
“Deans’s been brought up in England, and even if she was raised in India, people don’t just go around eaitng with their hands,” she told Star magazine. “Housemates want to learn other people’s cultures before they start talking.”
The 61-year-old added: “Deana’s suffered from racism before.
“It’s not nice for anybody to have the mickey taken out of them behind their back.”
