Big Brother 2012: Deana warned over 'offensive' remark to Adam

Big Brother has given Deana a warning after she used an apparently offensive Jamaican word in a jibe at pal Adam Kelly.

According to the Daily Star, the pair were joking when Deana referred the ex-LA gangster as a “bumbaclot”, which is the Jamaican word for “c**t”

“You can’t say that word. It means p***y-wipe,” Adam told her.

Deana asked: “Is it a bad word, then?

“Oh no, we’ll get called into the Diary Room again.”

And Deana was spot on, with Big Brother quickly calling her to the Diary Room to warn her about using potentially offensive language.

“In a conversation with Adam, Deana did say the word ‘bumbaclot’,” a spokesperson for Big Brother and Channel 5 confirmed. “Big Brother then made her aware that the word was inappropriate.”

It’s no real surprise that Big Brother were quick to issue a warning, with Ofcom currently investigating over 1,000 complaints made about comments from other housemates.

so its not ok for denna 2 speak her mind but its ok for caroline and co 2 get away with things this yrs bb is a farce cant believe how much over the yrs bb has changed …. i am a big fan of bb ever since it started bk in the day and im disgusted with the programme so far …. im teaching my young child not on any certain terms shld u become a bully etc , and yet for these grown up ppl get on this way is a disagrace 2 society in my eyes , im from northern ireland and the troubles we have here are unbearable but 2 watch bullies etc on tv is not on .. yes its only a gameshow and gd tv viewing but at wat cost is it not ok , yes bb may have sorted out the promblem of giving caroline and conor a warning but in my eyes its not gd enough .u wonder y alot of young girls/boys taking their own lives due 2 being bullied , i hope this sounds ok im just so angry with the way this yrs bb is becoming so far .. i had written this in another topic

Scott is the biggest bigot in the house! Parading as so “inoffensive” but sniping venomously at a lot of other housemates. WHY DID BIG BROTHER NOT WARN HIM ABOUT HIS STEREOTYPING OF PEOPLE FROM THE NORTH? HE SAID IN A CONVERSATION WITH ASHLEIGH AROUND A FEW WEEKS AGO “WELL I KNOW SHE’S FROM THE NORTH BUT THAT’S NO EXCUSE”, REFERRING TO BECKY AND HER TACTLESSNESS. SO FOR BIG BRO TO STEP IN, IT HAS TO BE ABOUT WHAT? BECAUSE THIS WAS STEREOTYPING ASWELL AS WHAT HE HAS SAID ABOUT DEANA. BIG BROTHER SHOULD MONITOR THE CONTENT AND NOT ALLOW SUCH BEHAVIOUR/LANGUAGE. MOST OF YOUR VIEWERS ARE PROBABLY FROM THE NORTH! SORT IT!

Connor winning 50k was just a bully being rewarded Luke showed his true colours after missing out with his aggression towards Adam when he came out of white room, the bullying of Deanna has been a disgrace, Ashleigh is a vile foul mouthed and not very bright individual and if she thinks luke is going to stay with her when they get out then she is mental deanna to win and good on her for winding luke up she has come out her shell since connor left because i think she was scared of him and luke is the biggest game player in there all men want to be me ha ha ha ha ha ha muppet !!!!
