The Big Brother 2012 housemates have passed their latest shopping task, winning another premium budget.

This week the group have been given a lab rats shopping task, with Luke A, Lydia and Benedict all becoming scientists and the other housemates lab rats.

Yesterday they were given their first set of challenges, which included Ashleigh having to ignore Justin Bieber and Luke S ignoring a burlesque dancer.

The scientists had to correctly predict whether or not the lab rats would have the will power to stay focused.

Shievonne and Scott also took part in similar challenges, having to keep their eyes on the prize and not get distracted by Big Brother’s tricks.

In order to win takeaway food, Shievonne had to ignore a huge snake that was being brought into the task room, while Scott had to avoid averting his gaze from a private party after a group of “Scott superfans” joined him.

All four of the housemates successful kept their eyes on the prize but the scientists only predicted that three would, as a result they incurred one fail.

Earlier today Caroline and Becky took on the impossible maze, with the scientists predicting that Becky would give up first. It was actually Caroline who threw in the towel earlier, incurring another fail for the scientists.

The final task this evening saw a twist, with the scientists under the illusions that they were delivering electric shocks to the lab rats.

But they were in on the secret and were merely acting. Feeling guilty, the scientists refused to give more shocks to the group at 800 volts, passing that part of the task.

Overall, the group incurred just two fails and so won a premium shopping budget.
