The wife of Big Brother 2012 housemate Luke Anderson has said she “couldn’t be prouder” of his stint in the BB house.
Transsexual Luke, currently in the process of gender reassignment surgery, was originally born a woman.
Luke’s wife Becki Jones told the Daily Star today how Luke revealed his ‘secret’ a month into their relationship.
“We had been going out for about a month – obviously nothing too serious,” Becki told the newspaper.
Recalling their “serious talk”, Becki revealed: “I was a bit nervous but I could see he was as well. I actually asked if he had been in prison. He laughed and said: ‘Don’t be silly’. He just told me he hadn’t always been a man and that he was born female.
“Obviously I was shocked. But I knew I was fine with it. Looking back it helped us realise we could completely trust one another.”
Becki went on: “Everybody has accepted him, the Big Brother thing secret was really no problem after all he and I have been through together.
“It doesn’t matter how long he lasts in the house. He is already a winner to me.”
